2004 to 2005
During these years Hands of Love entered the scene of the Third World people helping business.
When we first entered the field of extreme poverty, there was a an unfathomable amount of misdirection ,as well as misconceptions about the Third World poor and their world.
Through intense research on the subject, as well as separating what was working and what did not work. We discovered that something was seriously wrong with the perception of what the clients were saying and what was being relayed as their message by those intrusted to help the world understand.
Fortunately because of Sister Ling's background part by heritage and part by self selected choices, she has a phonetic understanding of many languages.
With this skill she was able to decipher many things in regards to what the issues were.
Once the poor were better understood there then became the problem of what to do about it.
Many of the poor were also ashamed of their situations and this was very apparent that they were not being totally up front about their issues and needs.
Here was where Hands of Love was formed .
With in this over all concept there was at the time some very serious health implications, as well as some very delicate environmental issues, that were taking place too.
Some where with in this over all picture ,a plan was developed to deal with all of them at the same time. To motivate the poor of the world and others by various means and methods to turn around the effect this was having on global health and the environment. We also cater to each nations individual profile and needs when we formulate an inception plan. We work at all levels, including the government and are often sympathetic to their most times unknown issues.
By this method we have made change
Because Hands of Love is a private, not for profit, NGO type, investigative mission we can not explain here what we did. But in the course of doing something we changed the people helping game tremendously. Part of this was achieved through Envionet Group and Infecto Group sister ventures to the Hands of Love mission and part of the Hands of Love Group System.
We would also like to note that we do have a profile of more in detail facts in regards to our method and terms of outreach ,but this is only available to serious future corporate contributors or donors or trier 1 and 2 benefactors.
2006 to 2007
With in our goals past present and future we have moved a lot of the hand prescribed work to the internet. This transition has been very effective and through this transition we were able to continue the Hands of Love method of intervention with out losing the ground we had gain by direct contact .
Many of the issues have changed since 2005.
Most would agree that things have gotten better.
Many of the inevitable heath fears prior to 2004 did not actually happen
There has been an increase in preventive methods to stave off starvation .
As we stand today in 2007 there are a lot fewer nations that are on the brink of death because of lack of food.
This fix is only a temporary fix and with out the support of more people, as well as corporate sponsors this temporary fix will not hold.
As many big names have joined the Help the Poor Movement over the last two years only time can tell if their commitment is long term.
Through the Hands of Love method were are prepared, as those that came to help for a little while wean. We can through this method get new big names to help once again.
We have also spread the message of appreciation for the time many famous people spent showing interest as well as understanding and gratitude if they one day can no loner stay in the mission of world aid.
Many of the real underlying problems that caused some of the more server cases with in pockets of the third world are still there.
So is the violence and the possibility for more wars, more strife and more deaths.
There is also a great possibility that this, as we found in 2004 this is spreading to First World nations.
There is still the fact of many nations inability to care for parts of their nations populations
There is still the underdevelopment of nations towards sustainability and serious economic concerns. Which for the next 50 years with out proper guidance and intervention will make improper management of the poor an international threat in many venues including; financial, heath and environmental for the whole world if this doesn't change.
2008
We hope that by out sourcing to receive corporate funding from selected corporate sponsors and benefactors we can tackle some of the hidden and underlying issues that can make the next 50 years, years of healing, development, economic and sustainable health including higher achievement in HIV,AIDS and other serious health issues,as well as birth defects which are cropping up in vast numbers in the First World.
We also hope to extend the lives of many in the First and the Third World and all in between. By teaching societies to take better care of their senior members. To help them achieve longer life spans because of the stability and knowledge they have.
We need them to live longer to help us and lead us.
We believe this is also one of the problems in the Third World and possibly the future reason of problems in more developed nations; the lack of the elderly and older people in the First and the Third World.
We also cannot take donations from any group or person.
We are targeting certain types of donors because of their experience in giving to these types of missions.
At the same time we cannot refuse gifts and donations from non solicited sources, but we can not grantee any change in our mission or direction because of any type of sponsorship.
We hope to continue our mission and strengthen the binds we have already created in the coming years. We hope to achieve growth by including more nations around the world in the Hands of Love mission as well as the implementation of more programs.
