Introduction
|
|
Below are videos that showcase the TC&W and MPL. Prairie Works and C. Vision are the only company's to to feature videos dedicated to the TC&W/MPL.
Pentrex and Plets Express have a few videos that show the TC&W, but only briefly.
Pentrex features the TC&W in their Todays Shortlines & Regionals video. It shows a work train dumping ballast and some action west of Glencoe. The TC&W is also seen in their "Hot Rails Through the Twin Cities" video but not in any kind detail.
The Plets Express video, "Twin Cities Hot Spots", is discontinued but if you can find a copy, I highly reccomend it. It shows some great action in the Hopkins area with both the TC&W and MNVA. A nice way to look back.Update page for further details.
If you know of any current or soon to be released videos featuring the TC&W, please e-mail me the details.

Prairie Works has a total of 6 videos shot from the cab covering the entire TC&W system. Even the no longer uesed MN&S from Milwaukee Jct. (St. Louis Park) to Camden (N. Minneapolis) is shown. A chance to see areas on the lines that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
|
C Vision has released a video covering both the TC&W and the MPL. C. Vision has quite a few videos out that cover most of the railroads in the Minnesota and surrounding area. The IC&E video "The Coolest Railroad on Earth" is an excellent video and worth picking up. It was filmed in the beginning of the IC&E so ex-IMRL power is plentiful. Visit the C. Vision Website for more videos and to order.

The video covers the current partial operations of the TC&W and the complete operations of the MPL. Covered is the Ruebel Turn and the Glencoe Turn on the TC&W. The video shows most of the MPL system with both GP10s and GP15Cs.
