Clouded Certainty
Logic and reason puzzle the
heart,
Confuse the spirit and soul.
Truth is questioned with many a doubt,
Convinced of a higher goal.
Slumber corrupted, all thoughts constructed
Of answers to current endeavor.
Once clear perception now twisted in vines,
That o truth do cinch and sever.
Vanquish impending, emotional fate
Gallop on sinister steed.
Words for reviewing, opinions renewing,
To the grave indecision will lead.
Still the heart knows and necessity grows
Every second new endings do sprout.
Yet the answer is known, but will not be shown
Until logic and reason fade out.
Untitled
In absence of light time pauses.
Our Divine One's continuance of another's day;
Frozen frost in subconscious thought;
The world still turns, but we cease movement.
A glimmer in our silent stop,
To let us know we're safe from pain,
Carries westward in open sky.
To invite the blessing of His grace.

A
gift of renewence, a clean slate.
Fresh start and new approach to old,
hindering worry.
Polished, rewrapped to emphasize the wonder
of a second chance.
Grateful must one be at such a thing,
When all the cost was words of sincere humility.
