Dolphin One way to Communicate and have Conference Calls Online, is to use Yahoo Messenger.

Dolphin You can download the required software for Windows/Linux/Mac and use it that way (Picture on Left). Or you use it from a webpage @ meebo.com (Picture on Right). Or from a 3G mobile

Click on an image to goto Yahoo Messenger or Mebo,

You have to have a Yahoo ID and Password (you can sign up on their website and it is all free). My ID is leftfieldnz. Then you login and can chat to friends and do dozens of other things like share conversations, webcams, photos, files etc etc.

It's easy to have a conversation with multiple people when you use Conference in Yahoo! Messenger. Communicate via text in one window, or share your webcam with several people at once.

(1) Enable video by clicking the Webcam icon.
(2) Add more friends to your Conference by clicking the Conference icon.
(3) The conference participants are listed to the right of the conversation.
(4) Send a friend a private IM by highlighting their name and clicking IM.
(5) Ignore a friend's messages by highlighting their name and clicking Ignore.

Another way to Communicate and have Conference Calls Online, is to use Skype VOIP.

You can download the required software for Windows/Linux/Mac and use it that way (Picture on Right).

You can use Skype for calls Online and to Landlines and Cellphones. Computer to Computer is free.

You can call people who only have a landline or mobile. Although this costs (You need to Buy a 10 Euro card from Skype and it cost around 3 cents per minute to NZ and more for mobiles).

Open Skype and Logon if asked.
Goto Tool Create a Conference Call. Add the Friends you wish to Conference with and press Start.
