Small House Plans

Small house designs are defined as those floor plans that do not exceed 1000 square feet total. Small house plans include small cottage houses or tiny house plans. Small house designs also are more private than other house plans. Other modifications to the design could include a sliding window that connects the kitchen to the hall with a counter.

A small house plan will typically have less than 3 bedrooms and around 2-3 bathrooms with smaller area for the bathrooms. Typically one bathroom will be bigger than the others which could be tied to the owner's bedroom and the guest rooms and other bedrooms could have a smaller bathroom. A small house is one storeyed or one layered and is lean, compact and generally a house that one moves into at the onset of ones career or when one is independent. The other home layout could come in subsequently but the smaller house design is the best for starters.

There is a common bathroom tied to the center of the room that is of convenience. The small house has all the basic amenities that one would need or expect. The small house could also come with an additional garage that is big enough to fit a multi utility vehicle or a mid sized van or sedan. If your small house has a roof, you could also opt for a mini attic that could hold your antiques.
