Small House Plans
Small house designs are defined as those floor plans that do not exceed 1000 square feet total. Small house plans include small cottage houses or tiny house plans. Consider a small house plan if your budget is limited, if you are an individual, or you plan to use this house as a small home office. A tiny house is catching popularity mainly because of individuals looking for a cheaper alternative who want a no frills residence, good enough to hold them and a couple more residents. Small house plans are also easier to maintain and are lighter on the pockets especially since they don’t consume more area and other utilities like electricity.
A small house plan doesnt mean that it is substandard; many are switching to small houses especially someone used to cramp up expensive apartments in bustling cities. Installation and maintain small houses are easier and are less of a liability. The advantage of such a house is that it is cozy, comfortable and big enough to hold 3-4 occupants comfortably. Certain sections of the room can be tailor-made or customized to the resident's requirements. Small house designs could also accommodate room consolidations to make it larger; however room consolidation should be done only if not many occupants are expected over a longer term. Small house designs also are more private than other house plans. Other modifications to the design could include a sliding window that connects the kitchen to the hall with a counter.
