DIRECTIONS

This calendar works the same way as a real Advent calendar.

1. Find the numbered door corresponding to today's date.

2. Click on the door to open it and reveal the picture of the day.

3. Click on the picture to view an animated version. If your browser is set to block pop-up windows, use Ctrl-Click.

4. To close an open door, click on it.

5. You'll only be able to open doors for today's date or earlier. No peeking ahead! You'll just have to wait until December 24th to see all the pictures.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. The calendar will take a minute or two to load, even with a high speed connection. Don't be worried if it doesn't come up right away. Minimize the browser, get a cup of tea, let the server do its thing.
2. The calendar doesn't "get focus" until you click on it. So, you may have to click on the first window twice to get it to open. After that, it should be smooth sailing.
3. If you scroll up and down a lot, the calendar image or the pictures may start to break up. If that happens, try refreshing the page, or scrolling the white area off the screen.
4. There is sound, so use caution if you're viewing the calendar at work or while your kids are trying to nap.
