Earth Yoga

Once upon a time there was a Yogi who had a cave. He proclaimed to many the value of his cave. Then he sold it to someone for 5000 clams. This was cool. The Yogi walked away from the cave with his big ones and went to the market and bought food. He had decided to eat until he was feeling better. He had lost a bit of weight meditating. His new mantra was, "I love each and every one," and he stayed in the market place itself where he could see them all.

His life passed, and he was unhappy with all of the worldly people, but he still tried to love each and every one of them. He had never been to High School. Before he died, he wrote a secret letter to God. "May I go to High School in America in some future lifetime?" God got the letter when he wrote it and told the market place Yogi secrets.

That was then and this is now, and as usual, God does secret things to us all. That Yogi was in your High School, you missed him, looked over him. Why. Why not love each and every one while you are still kicking? Afraid. Then to a cave to meditate in, is a good place to go.

Have you ever considered having a quiet place to meditate.   Maybe it is difficult to silently meditate in a noisy place.  Perhaps anyone would like a nice place to meditate in.  Is this a problem, to have special place to meditate that is quiet?  Make a list of places that you can go to meditate outside of your home.  Make another list of what you need for your own meditation space inside of your home.  For many Yogis they become jealous of "caves to meditate in".  This means that have not considered the value of there own meditation space.

Question:  How do you rate your own meditation space?  Is it good or just fair.

Swami Mantrananda Meditation Center

Very few yoga texts that Americans use tell us how to meditate with others or how to do Yoga with others. However, Hinduism is a group process that has group rituals, mores, codes of honor, times to worship, and calendars of events that must be done. These are all complicated and are Hinduism as well as Yogic.

As Americans our everyday life is complicated enough and yet if you meditate alone for even ten minutes a day, you are still a Yogi and perhaps desiring that there is other people that you can talk to about this and learn more.

Scientist say that man is a social animal, therefore he must have meditation or peaceful gatherings with other people and share some of his experiences. Ultimately Yogi’s still close their eyes to meditate, which proves that they may not even be a social animal, but simply men who are the Self, a Yogi, a great being. Thus Yoga and meditation bridge the gape between being the Self, and being a social animal. So here we are doing Yoga, doing life, we are still the Self, which is both separate and a part of life.

To begin with, believe in your meditation center and it might help everything. Believe that you can open your house to some people and begin sharing your center and meditating together.

Open your heart and open a Swami Mantrananda Meditation Center.  Begin by purchasing the book at Swami Mantrananda Book Store on the Internet.
