Glossary of Yoga

Many people have been tempted to find out if various types of Religions can actually be practiced together. In other words, many people think that some of the practices that are involved in Christianity and Yoga can be the same practice. Others are not sure that these various Religious practices are in fact the same, therefore, some people must have a fight with others and eventually there are even wars, killings of people, and the most unbelievable amount of animosity against people who are not like you. These attitudes end up being Xenophobia in today’s world.

If you try to practice meditation as a Christian you might sit and contemplate Jesus. If you try to practice meditation as a Hindu, you might sit and contemplate Krishna. Both Jesus and Krishna were called "Avatars" by their own religion. Thus the technique "looks" the same. However, these methods cannot lead to the same goal. Here is why, (1) Two different people were practicing them, so they cannot reach the same goal. (2) Two different "Avatars" were contemplated in meditation and each person may have connected up with their appropriate "Avatar." And if they did connect up through meditation, the Avatar might have given them silent instructions, who knows what those instructions are. (3) Those who say that everything on the spiritual path leads to the same goal have been swindled by something to say such things.  "I love you," is part of a wonderful thought that we can be loving.  If all spiritual paths lead to "toleration of others," then they would at least have that in common.

Let us call the mantra "I love you," a form of Siddha Yoga Jesus One. It will be a Siddhi (or mental power) if you repeat it mentally each time you see someone. It is a type of Yoga because it must be practiced to be understood and realized. Love is recommended by Jesus. It is simple, so I say that it gives realization One, instead of One hundred of them. Thus you have a technique. Siddha Yoga Jesus One, you can practice it.  Practice it by mentally repeating "I love you" when you see someone.

Eventually you will have practiced this enough.
