Today we must be consider that there is a ten
minute a day meditation method that will help you get better grades.
So let us suspect that this ten minute
method, that I offer just might do the trick. I however do not
suggest that you be that serious about school unless you want to.
The method is simple and should work. Make a list of all the things
you must do today to get all of your school work done and then
meditate on the list for ten minutes. This means repeat the list to
yourself over and over so that you are concentrating on what you
must do and memorizing it. After that, do what is on the list, which
is school work. Eventually school work can be time consuming and
hard to do, so many people cannot keep up with it and cannot
meditate this way.
Perhaps there are other meditation techniques of
Yoga that do not promise good grades in school. Meditation is said
to give some relaxation so that it might give you enough extra
relaxation, and if you get this relaxation in the proper way, you
will continue as a student. You might guess that Yoga and Meditation
make one smart at Yoga and Meditation and for example Biology makes
one smart at Biology. This is your best bet, do not expect anything
to give you instant intelligence, work for better grades, that is
all that you can do.
The relaxation that a person gets from meditation
might work for some people, but simply cannot work for each student
that is in school. You have grades and other things that must come
into focus. Who knows, one student may need to work out in the gym
once a day to keep from feeling lethargic. Another student needs
Hatha Yoga, and another needs marriage, yet another needs to make a
list of all the things he must do to get his school work done.
Thus Swami Mantrananda has recommended that you
meditate without levitating your grades.
