Food, Vitamins, Hoaxes and Whale meat

All spiritual practitioners of any of the types of Yoga, also want to eat good food and not be involved in a hoax. What I mean is that "specialized diets" are not for each and every person. Therefore, one person may decide to eat only fruit and call themselves a Fruitarian. Isn’t this type of diet a hoax? Maybe some people have had a lot of fruit to eat when it is fresh. Other than that, what are you going to eat, so that you are not involved in a hoax.Suppose that eventually someone will tell you that as a Yogi that you must eat "pure food" and it must be Vegetarian. If that includes fruit then it is a Vegetarian and a Fruitarian diet. Interestingly enough, many people are easily swindled by food hoaxes. that is, people want to do these diets because they are "better for you" and give us "better health." "Vegetarians" swindle other people to believe that they are eating "pure foods." Guess what is not pure according to vegetarian, well it turns out that meat is considered not pure, instead of calling it meat. Even vegetables are considered impure if they are not "organic" by some people. What about Vitamins, these are foods, or laboratory made foods. You might need Vitamin C sometimes, why wouldn’t you. What about Whale meat, you might need some. Don’t people in Alaska hunt Whales and eat Whale meat. These are just thoughts and attitudes that go through peoples mind. What a person needs to be healthy is a good diet. Now we have to fight over what a good diet is. As a general rule, you must not worry about eating Whale meat, but an Alaskan might do very well practicing some form of Yoga and their own type of prayer and eating Whale meat. For almost everyone else, eating Whale meat is a hoax. Next, many people take herbs and these might also be considered "impure foods." So we cannot let ourselves be hoaxed by words, you might need herbs. Read books about herbs to see what they may be about. Also, many people take Homeopathic remedies for various health problems. Your medical doctor seems to be against them and says they are a hoax, but they are available and you can also study about these. Thus it appears to me that a Yogi and Meditation Pro needs more self reliance to study some of these diets or we might be involved in the "fantastic potato diet," if there is such a thing, or the "brown rice diet", or the "can-of-health-drink-a-day" makes you bigger and brighter. Jay Leno has thought about all these food jokes already. When it comes to food, don’t let the joke be on you. |
